What happened
We wanted PAM without a two-quarter implementation. Secret Server got us vaulting and rotation in weeks rather than months, and the admin experience is much lighter. It does less than the heaviest platform in session management, but we got value in the first month instead of the third quarter.
Worked well
Fast to stand up. Clean admin experience. Good price relative to the enterprise options.
Did not
Session management is less deep. Some connectors need manual work. Reporting is basic.
