What happened
We shortlisted three SSE vendors and Netskope won on inline data protection: the granularity of what it can see and stop in sanctioned and unsanctioned apps was a clear step ahead in our own testing, not just in the deck. Deployment took longer than the vendor suggested and steering configuration needed real thought.
Worked well
Inline data protection granularity. Application visibility is excellent. Good API-based scanning of sanctioned apps.
Did not
Deployment took longer than promised. Steering configuration is complex. Reporting needed customisation.
